Covid-19 safety measures
Covid-19 form:
Before starting face-to-face classes again, you will need to complete a Covid-19 questionnaire and email it back to me prior to the class. Although the boxes on the form look very small – once you start typing in them they expand to fit the text
Your health:
If you (or a member of your household) have any of the following symptoms or are feeling unwell, please do not come to class:- Fever, a new or continuous cough, loss of taste or smell.
- Shortness of breath, fatigue, loss of appetite, muscle aches and pains, sore throat, headache, nasal congestion, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting.
- If you have knowingly been in close contact with anyone who has tested positive for Covid-19 in the last 14 days, please do not attend class until 14 days from that contact have elapsed.
- If you develop symptoms during a class or 72 hours after attending a class it is important that you contact your Teacher.
Entering and leaving the room:
Entrance and exit will be via the main entrance. If you are waiting to come into your class it is important that you maintain social distancing of 2m.
Masks not required when exercising but must be worn in the rest of the building when not participating in the class i.e. when walking through the room and foyer
Please can you use the hand sanitiser as you enter and leave the building.
Chairs - Chairs will have been placed to ensure 2m distance between class members.
Walls - We are avoiding using the walls of the room in order to limit contamination of surfaces and moving around during class.
Access to other parts of the building:
The toilets are to be used only as an emergency and are not to be used as a changing facility. Class members are asked to come to the venue already changed. If needed, use the left hand side toilet area, as you come up the steps, and specifically the cubicle directly facing you as you enter. The disabled toilet is only to be used if you are disabled. To conform to social distancing, only one person in the toilets at a time.
The Kitchen is out of use for everyone. Please bring your own water as required.
BYO Plan (Bring Your Own):
You should bring your own equipment each week, ie mat, cushions, band and small blue ball, which will fit into large shopping bag and are quite light. Equipment packs can be provided by me on a long-term loan (to be returned when you no longer require a place in the class). You may wish to clean equipment at class (especially before taking it away with you). Wipes will be provided for this. Please report any damages/wear & tear to loaned items immediately and refrain from using the item.
Cleaning Measures:
Floors, surfaces and toilets will be thoroughly sanitised, and the hall floor is regularly fogged (details on Geldeston Village Hall website)
Ventilation:
In order to provide good ventilation, we will have windows and doors open, as much as possible. Please dress warmly enough as needed.
